The Summer School of Ocean Remote Sensing Synergy took place at Telecom Bretagne from July 5 to 10 .
The 25 participants who attended the course during the 5 days were from all over the world: Asia (Saudi Arabia, China), Africa (Morocco, Tunisia), Europe (France, Spain, Italy, Finland, Ireland, Belgium), America (Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil).
The topics were presented by 10 lecturers on topics such as oceanography, satellites Remote sensing or statistics
Students, oceanographers mostly aimed to learn more about synergetic use of satellite ocean observations. Another part of them came for training about statistical data analysis.
This summer school was the opportunity for Dr Fabrice Collard to make a demonstration of the first version of Ocean Virtual Laboratory.
